Madeira Island

Hello everyone! :)

The next trip is booked and I am heading to the Madeira Island! I have been so far away in the map and I still haven't been to the Madeira and the Azores Islands that are part of Portugal. It is always like that, isn't it?
I feel even more guilty to have waited so long as part of my family comes from Madeira.

Just to situate you, Madeira sits here:

This means good weather all year round!

I plan on hiking, relaxing and exploring the island. Just look at this:

 And of course eat tons of the tiny Madeira Bananas.... :)

the freckle season

Hi! What have you been up to?
If you know me, you know I take all the chances to talk about freckles :) I wait for mine to come after winter and I am happy whey they come back from hibernation.
Today I even posted a selfie on my instagram so to register the moment ^^

emerson fry new york - spring 2014

I am in love with emerson fry's cold spring collection. It is a mix of nordic-french-new yorker pieces, fresh, simple and chic. If it was not on the pricier side, I would get everything!

When I saw this poster, besides laughing, I remembered how much I love a good doughnut (or donut, I never know which word to use). When I was living in NY (*sigh*) I got my fair share and tried a lot of them but my favourites were, by far, the ones from the Brooklyn Flea - DOUGH.

They are SO good. Fluffy, airy and so tasty. Please Universe, send one my way!

You all know I love the brand comptoir des cotonniers. As I have said several times, the cuts, colours and feel of the garments are very me and they always look chic. I am very sad it no longer has stores in Portugal, but I have the internet and of course - the trips abroad that I love :-)
