Around Lisbon - CCB and Bairro Alto

I love taking long walks in my city. Every time I notice something new or different. And sundays era perfect for that. After a brunch, a museum and a walk fit like a glove.
If you're thinking about coming to Lisbon, CCB is a must as well as all the Belém area.

CCB

Bairro Alto.
It reads: this gentleman says he sells hashish and cocaine

Jerónimos

---

the royal blue

Hi there! The winter is definitely coming, this weekend was windy... (I hate wind...)
I am starting on piling layers, which I really like and think give interest to the outfits, what do you think? Layers or not?

I am wearing
coat and dress - comptoir des cotonniers; long cardigan - mango; belt - sisley; boots - zilian; bag - furla

---

tips for working from home

Hello everyone :) how are you doing?
Today I write to you with a topic that is now my concern and a growing preoccupation to the ones that are now working from home. A new trend, should I call it?
As you know , I love it:) (I get to spend the day in pajamas, reading and watching series, cooking, eating...)
One of the biggest problems of those working from home is the personal care. Why dress up, put some make up on and wear contact lenses? Well...it matters a lot but it takes time. Or not. Here are some tips for you that I apply to myself and recommend to you.

1. Wake up everyday at the same hour. I don't care if you went to bed late; it's time to get up! My alarm goes off at 9.

2. Take that damn shower first thing in the morning. Come on! It is 10 minutes most, it wakes you up and home or not home you need to be clean! And everyone loves a shower, am I right or I am right? :-)

3. Sit down and eat breakfast. A good one. You deserve it.

4. DRESS UP. Ok, here I will be clearer.
- If you stay home in your pj's you will feel sick.
- If you stay in sweatpants you will feel like you are not working like everybody else that is in an office is.
- You deserve to look and feel good every single day.

Tips for motivating yourself to dress up and how to do it:

- Imagine you have a meeting (don't image a bank, you do not need a suit...)
- Take a risk. That skirt that you always match with that blouse? Forbidden. Change it. Wear it with something you have never worn it with. (Same goes with every combination: trousers, shorts...)
- Do not wear the same piece in the same week, if possible in two weeks.
- Accessorise: belts, bracelets, earrings, rings (you don't need to be the lovely Anna dello Russo at home, but do wear something; I even wear scarves).
- Comfortable BUT cute shoes. Ballet flats or boots are a must. In my case I wear loafers because in my house the street shoes are not allowed. Exception made for visits, time where I also wear shoes.

5. Beauty - make-up and hair:

- Take care of your skin and wear mascara and blush, you will be instantaneously lifted. No foundations needed (I actually never wear it) or red lipstick! (God!, imagine if you fall asleep in he couch?) You will know you are looking good and will feel more confident.
- Wash your hair (as wanted/needed) and wear a cute ponytail, braid or bun which are perfect for being in front of the computer and all look good.

6. GET OUT at least once.

I hope I helped! Let me know what you think:)

P.S. I was asked if you have kids do these apply? Of course. It is exactly the same. Even though I don't have them, I know that if you had to go to an office you would do this, so there you go, you can do it:-)

Claro, é exactamente a mesma coisa. Mesmo que eu não os tenha, sei perfeitamente que se vocês fossem para um escritório as aplicariam, por isso, you can do it! :-)

beijinhos

small luxuries

Trench: Comptoir des Cotonniers (similar), Dress: Comptoir des Cotonniers (similar), Boots: Comptoir des Cotonniers (similar), Bag: Furla (similar), Scarf: Massimo Dutti (similar)

Hello! How is everyone doing? I have a few updates for you :) Everything seems to be aligning on my professional future, I just took another baby step - I have one more to go but more on that later! I received the answer from Social Security and the first payment is on its way, yey! So, I have been doing some styling works and enjoying my "holidays".
Today I had lunch in the park with two friends and yesterday I went to the beach to watch the sunset. Amen! :)

AND... remember my skin issue? It is getting better...so fast! I'll post photos on another day but I guess this moisturiser and I were made for each other :) So happy!

high waisted

Hello world:) how was your weekend? Mine is almost finishing...
Yesterday was a crazy day. I left home after lunch and the agenda was: go to my mom's house to grab my 4G SIM card (anyone knows the difference so far?), go to an exhibition and snack with a group of friends, have dinner with another group AND go clubbing and meeting more friends. Well, I wasn't prepared and went with this outfit, can you image how hot was inside the club? Oh my... But it was great :)

I'm wearing: zara coat, mango blouse, pepe jeans skirt, stradivarius boots, poise bag

Have a great week start :)

it's snowing in NYC

Walking to #Broadway #snow #NewYork lovinn it ;))

...and I am jealous... Ok, it is maybe a little too early for snow but how come Lisbon and NYC have almost the same latitude and it never snows here? I really NEED to visit again (I was there in 2000) so, right now, everything NYC related gets my attention.

love from semi sunny Lisbon!

beijinhos desta semi-solarenga Lisboa!

Today is D.'s birthday and I realised that making a collage with my inspiration for tonight's dinner would be perfect :)
